Hastings Family Practice is a group of Board Certified Specialists in Family Medicine.  We care for families and individuals of all ages and health conditions including expectant mothers, babies, children, and the elderly.  When needed, we assist our patients to obtain appropriate medical care from other medical specialists.  Our emphasis is long term care for individuals and their families.

Frederick D. Catlett, MD

Dr. Catlett is a Family Practitioner in Hastings, NE.  He is affiliated with Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, NE and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Family Medicine in Omaha, NE.  He is certified with the American Board of Family Practice and is licensed in the State of Nebraska.  Dr. Catlett received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1973 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  He completed his internship in 1974 with Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, NE and his residency with the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE in 1976.  He is also the Medical Director at the Haven Home of Kenesaw Living Centers of America in Kenesaw, NE.

Michael E. Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson is a Family Practitioner with Hastings Family Practice, P.C. in Hastings, NE.  He is affiliated with Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, NE.  He is certified with the American Board of Family Practice and is licensed in both the State of Nebraska and the State of South Dakota.  Dr. Johnson received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1985 from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in Omaha, NE.  He completed his internship in 1986 with McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD and his residency in 1988 with Sioux Falls Family Practice, also in Sioux Falls, SD.  He was a part of the National Emergency Services from 1986 to 1988, worked at Wessington Springs Family Practice in Wessington Springs, SD from 1988 to 1989, and was a mission volunteer in the Philippines in 1989.
