Dr. Ye has a wide range of expertise that includes Cancer Surgery, Breast Surgery, and Head and Neck surgery including ENT procedures. YSA now offers endovascular radio frequency venous ablation for Varicose Veins, including perforating veins and even spider veins. Dr. Ye also does Non-Cardiac Thoracic Surgery.
His Otolaryngology training brings ENT capability to some of the smaller hospitals that Dr. Ye will be working at, allowing Myringotomy Tubes and Tonsils and Adenoid surgery, Thyroid, Parathyroid, and minor and major Salivary Gland surgery to be performed where these services were not previously available in the smaller community hospitals.
A more recent addition to York Surgical's offerings is the Mammosite for partial breast irradiation (PBI) following lumpectomy for breast cancer, and YSA already uses state of the art "surgery free" Mammotome vacuum assisted breast biopsy as well as Gamma Probe for sentinel lymph node biopsy (SNLB).
Dr. Ye and his wife, Julie, have two boys. Their older son, Bolun plays violin for the Omaha Youth Orchestra and is a state class swimmer. He is finishing his senior year of high school in Omaha and Julie will be dividing her time between York and Omaha to support Bolun. The younger son, Allen is in 6th grade.
